Rodgers Forge and Stoneleigh
Rodgers Forge was built by developer James Keelty and his sons between 1931 and 1957, mostly as English-style rowhouses, and the whole neighborhood is on the National Register of Historic Places. Kitchens are compact, and stone travels through the front door and down a narrow hall.
Next door, Stoneleigh mixes detached Tudors and colonials from the 1920s through the 1950s. Plaster walls and older cabinet boxes mean scribing and leveling come before the stone goes down.
